How healthy is not only having a lot to spend. In fact often come from trivial things existing and readily available all around us, whether it’s trying to fruits, vegetables or even just water. Well, in order to share knowledge and the knowledge about health, this time will present health information in connection with the effects a vegetarian diet good for people with kidneydisease.

Vegetarian Diet Maintains Healthy KidneysApparently just by following a vegetarian diet, according to one study, patients with kidney disease can prevent toxic accumulation of phosphorus in their bodies. It is known, people with kidney disease should limit their intake usually does phosphorus. Because mineral levels that are too high can lead to heart disease and death.

Medical guidelines generally recommend low phosphorus diets for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), phosphorus levels unfortunately not listed on food labels.

Therefore, Sharon Moe of Indiana University School of Medicine and his colleagues studied the effect of the pattern of vegetarian and meat consumption based on phosphorus levels in nine patients with CKD.

A group of patients was then asked to follow a vegetarian diet and other patient groups follow a meat-based diet for one week each group proceed to the opposite diet two to four weeks later. Blood and urine tests and performed every weekend at either diet.

Despite equivalent protein phosphorus concentrations in the two diets, patients had visible blood phosphorus levels and decreased lower phosphate excretion in the urine when they undergo a vegetarian diet compared with the meat-based diet.

The researchers concluded the study suggests that the source of protein in the diet has a significant effect on phosphorus levels in patients with CKD. The study appears in a recent issue of the Clinical Journal of the American Society Nephrology (CJASN) some time ago.

It seems there is no harm if we ever get used to eating healthy food, especially the vegetarian group. Avoid drinks that are not good for your health as intoxicating alcoholic liquor, or drink coffee at an inconvenient time and better drinking coconut water and honey just as many benefits.
